About Dr. Pousson

Dr. Pousson and his wife, Jeanne, graduated from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 1979 and established a family practice in Slidell, Louisiana. Their office became the dental home to many Slidell area families. Its friendly atmosphere and dedication to high-quality dentistry created an excellent reputation in the community.

Dr. Jeanne retired from dentistry in 1995 to home school their three children, which proved to be a very satisfying commitment for parents and children alike. The Poussons moved to Virginia in 2001 where their oldest son, Kyle, attended Patrick Henry College. Kyle graduated in 2005 and has since completed law school at Duke University. He is currently an assistant district attorney in Durham, North Carolina. Michael graduated from Virginia's George Mason University and has obtained his Master's Degree in real estate development from Clemson University. He is presently employed by Vintage Realty in Shreveport, Louisiana. Michelle recently retired from her position as receptionist for Pousson Family Dentistry. She is enjoying her new life as an Army wife. In 2008, after Kyle and Michael had completed their graduate studies, Dr. Pousson and Jeanne returned to Slidell and reopened their practice. They are delighted to be once again in the Camellia City.
